Ollie's 3rd Birthday

Our 3 year old.

Weighing in at 33lbs and 37inchs tall.

Ollie's birthday cake (he picked it out).

This is the train we rented for his party, but it wouldn't crank. It was very cold that morning and for some reason the driver couldn't get the train to crank. None of the kids cared they played on the train and jumped on the inflatable the driver had with him.

Thanksgiving 2010

Thanksgiving this year was a lot of fun! Laurie and her family came into town and we spent a lot of time together just hanging out. I love how much Pratt and Ollie love each other. Here are some pics from our time together.

This was during the Auburn/Alabama game. They were watching Thomas.

Pratt wanted to hold Savell.

Nana and Pappy with the grandkids, minus Newton, he was napping

Firetruck Birthday

Ollie's friends Davis and Dawson had their Birthday Party this past weekend.

They had a firetruck come by the party!

Ollie was so excited about it.

We tried to get a picture of all the kids by the firetruck.

As you can see that wasn't an easy task.

O just wanted to push all the buttons.

2 Months Old

Savell is 2 months old! So hard to believe. She is growing like crazy.

She is 11.4lbs and 22 3/4 in. long

She is smiling and cooing.

You should see Ollie when she smiles at him. It is the sweetest thing. Ollie lights up and yells, "Mommy, Savell smile me!"

Fall Ya'll

Here are some from the pumpkin patch in Union Springs as well as from Halloween! It has been a very busy month, but I can say it has been a blast!

O was a frog for Halloween! Here he is eating a snow cone

Papa, Savell, and a frog

Ollie is at such a great age where everything is so fun to him. He tell me all the time "Mommy, I so happy!" which makes me so happy to hear him say that. I love that kid so much! His new favorite thing to say is "Oh, I get it!" and if you know Ollie at all it is as loud as he can possibly be with the biggest smile on his face. A lady at church calls him Jolly Ollie and I think that sums it up just right. He is such a ham, and really loves life. I hope Savell will be just like that when she is older.

The day the Lord blessed us with a little girl!

39 weeks pregnant on the way to the hospital at 5am! So ready to meet Savell Ann Moody! Around 6:30 I got pitocin and the fun began! Around 9:30 I got my epidural and was told Savell should arrive around 2 or 3. I thought oh great that is a LONG time!

Maybe an hour later the nurse checked me and I was 4/5cm I got my catheter and starting feel ALOT OF PAIN and pressure. We called the nurse and I was telling her that I thought something was wrong with the cath because of the pain. She checked me and said no it is because Savell is ready to come out. Jeff was studying for a test on the other side of the room and jumped up not expecting to hear we were ready!

They made me keep my legs together b/c she was just coming out. ALL I WANTED TO DO WAS PUSH! WHERE IS DR. PHILLPS? He was in surgery and was on his way. When he walked in he was on the phone with his mom and sat down to put his shoe covers on. The nurse looked at him and said, "Dr. Phillips WE NEED YOU NOW!" He hung up with his mom in time to catch Savell. I think I pushed 2 or 3 times.

She arrived at 11:05 at 6lbs 12 oz and 20 inches long. What a little miracle!

Jeff and his little girl!

My babies!

On the way home!

Baby Showers

Savell, is already here and I haven't been good about blogging but I want to document everything I can so here goes.
First of all Jeff and I were blessed to have two baby showers. One was a church shower that the ladies from our lifegroup set up for us. It was so nice and greatly appreciated. Savell got a ton of cute things as well as a stock pile of diaper and wipes!!
The second shower for giving my our sweet friends the Chaney's and the soon to be Morgan's(getting married on 1-1-11). Again we were blessed to get so many great things for Savell and enjoyed a great time with friends and family!

Beach trip/ Shingles

As I have missed of blogging for much of this summer, I will update a few things. First, we took our last family of 3 vacation to the beach in July. I was so excited about this time with our little family. We had grand ideas of all that we would do together. We were leaving on a Wednesday and would come back on Sunday.

Tuesday night I had this bump on my back that hurt so I showed Jeff. He thought it was just a pimple on my back (which I never get so I didn't think it was). By the time we got to the beach on Wednesday evening it has started to spread. I called my OB on call after looking up shingles online. I had heard they took this kind of pattern. The OB also thought it sounded like shingles but wanted me to go the the urgent care in the morning and have them tell me for sure. All this time I am in pain, and it isn't a pleasant experience.

The next morning we went to urgent care and that confirmed I had shingles gave me the medicine the OB said I could take and sent me home to rest telling me not to spend a lot of time in the sun. HELLO, I AM AT THE BEACH! NO SUN MEANS NO FUN! Ollie and Jeff did enjoy the ocean some and I went out for about an hour.

The medicine they gave me made me feel very loopy so it was hard to even be up and moving. Jeff was so awesome and just took care of me and he and O went and played at different places. We only have a few pics of the trip as you see up top.

Needless to say it wasn't the week I had hoped for but that is life sometimes and we will have more trips in our future.

4th of July

Montgomery had a staycation event for the 4th of July on Friday night Jeff and I went on a couple date with some sweet friends and really enjoyed the adult time together.
Saturday we took Ollie to the kids event downtown. While it was very unorganized and wasn't free as advertised Ollie had a lot of fun. I however feel down and scrapped my leg up and the medics had to clean up my leg (how embarrassing)! Here are a few pics of the weekend.

This is Ollie best friend Colin, it is so sweet how much these boys LOVE each other!
